Women’s Health is more than just a yearly exam. Guidelines on women’s health are continually changing. Women’s health involves pap smears, breast exams, mammography, vaccinations, and counseling on hormonal issues both pre-menopausal and post-menopausal. We gladly will perform wellness exams and PAP smears, though we do not provide prenatal care nor do we perform operations.

- Menopause education and potential treatment
- Treatment for depression and anxiety in all age groups, as well as treatment of mood disorders associated with menopause
- Comprehensive cardiovascular risk assessment
- Treatment of menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, pelvic infections and other gynecologic problems
- Contraception and contraceptive education
IUD insertion (Available at our Keller location only)
An IUD (intrauterine device) is a form of birth control is available in hormonal and non-hormonal variations. It is a small piece of flexible plastic (or copper) shaped like a “T” that’s put into your uterus to prevent pregnancy. It’s long-term, reversible, and one of the most effective birth control methods out there.
The 2 types of IUDs are divided into hormonal and non-hormonal versions:
- The non-hormonal version is available as a copper IUD (ParaGard)
- The hormonal IUDs are available as the Mirena, Kyleena, Liletta, and Skyla
If you think this option is for you, please contact the Keller Clinic at 817-431-3800 to schedule a consultation.
