What we do
Our Services
Specializing in family medicine, the physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners at North Hills Family Medicine are devoted to the care of the entire family – from infants to adults. As family physicians we provide personal, convenient and cost effective service in the following areas:
After Hours Medical Advice
Our providers are always available after office hours for emergency medical advice. Night and weekend coverage is shared among our providers.
- Call our office for instructions:
- Keller: 817-431-3800
- North Richland Hills: 817-284-1165
- You may also obtain advice through your insurance, as most insurance companies have triage lines which provide 24 hour service. (See the back of your insurance card for the specific number of your plan.)
- In a life-threatening situation, go to the nearest Emergency Room or call 911 immediately.
Hospital Affiliations
We are a private practice with no hospital affiliation at this time. This allows us to direct patients to the appropriate facilities to treat their conditions.
While admitted to the hospital, patients are followed in the hospital by a member of the hospitalist staff.
Upon discharge we aim to have a follow-up visit in the office to promote continuation of care and reconcile medications and referrals.
- Chronic Disease Support: We have a team of RNs and care coordinators who will work closely with you and your family to help you understand chronic disease states, manage referrals and be the voice for you between your appointments with us.
- Stellus Pharmacy: A clinical pharmacist will contact you directly to help ensure that your medications are appropriately prescribed and cost-effective. They will help to coordinate medication lists between us and specialists and set up delivery of your medications in a convenient package delivered to your doorstep every month.
Specialist Referrals
We will help to coordinate and process your referrals for needed specialty services as specified by your provider. You can help by letting us know when your insurance company or health plan requires a referral or prior authorization for specific procedures.
