Women’s Health is more than just a yearly exam. Guidelines on women’s health are continually changing. Women’s health involves pap smears, breast exams, mammography, vaccinations, and counseling on hormonal issues both pre-menopausal and post-menopausal. We gladly will perform wellness exams and PAP smears, though we do not provide prenatal care nor do we perform operations.

    • Routine annual well-woman visits, which include a full health evaluation and often a pap smear
    • Bone density testing to screen for osteoporosis
    • Osteoporosis education and treatment
    • Referrals for mammograms and colon cancer screening
    • Menopause education and potential treatment
    • Treatment for depression and anxiety in all age groups, as well as treatment of mood disorders associated with menopause
    • Comprehensive cardiovascular risk assessment
    • Treatment of menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, pelvic infections and other gynecologic problems
    • Contraception and contraceptive education
